About Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis is not a sleep state but a natural deep state of relaxation using our natural ability to use our imagination wherein we can communicate with both the subconscious and conscious parts to help focus and resolve conflict.


There is no such thing as a ‘hypnotised feeling’, some people may go into a deep state of relaxation but others remain totally aware of their surroundings. You will be in full control and able to speak, open your eyes and even move around and cannot be made to do anything you do not want to do.


During hypnosis your hypnotherapist will guide you, using suggestion and imagery to reach a deeper state of focus and awareness than you are usually able to access, using your subconscious mind to uncover emotional stresses, inner conflicts and fears which may be prompting behaviours, attitudes, habits and worries often buried deep in the subconscious, motivating you to find a better way of life.

Hypnosis and hypnotherapy are completely safe, there are no side effects, except positive changes. You are in control the whole time and cannot be made to say or do anything you do not want to and you can bring yourself out at any time. You cannot get stuck in hypnosis, what you see on stage acts is exactly that, a stage act for entertainment
